Aluminum Rigid Conduit. 6063 aluminum alloy, T-1 temper. The light weight of aluminum in combination with high strength makes the aluminum ideal for any conduit installation. Aluminum conduit is approximately 1/3 the weight of steel. Aluminum conduit resists most corrosive atmospheres and industrial enviroments that usually attack other types of metallic conduit. In these applications, aluminum requires no painting or replace- ment, resulting in considerable savings in maintenance costs. Aluminum can accept either Aluminum or Rigid fittings and is bent with standard bending tools. One coupling is supplied with each 10' length.
